As Women of Reform Judaism, Sisterhood, is dedicated to providing a place where Temple Shalom women can share spirituality, service and friendship in a warm and welcoming environment.
Through the dedicated efforts of our members, we continually support our temple in many capacities. We are able to show this support by donating sums of money for the betterment of our temple and providing programs which reach out to all segments of our temple community. Won’t you join us today and make Sisterhood a special place for you here at Temple Shalom.

A sampling of Sisterhood’s efforts:

  • Present each confirmation graduate with a kiddush cup and prayer book, and present each B’nai Mitzvah with a prayer book (jointly with Brotherhood and the Temple Board).
  • Operate the Temple Judaica Shop.
  • Sell yarmulkes.
  • Sell B’nai Mitzvah videos.
  • Coordinate the weekly Oneg Shabbat.
  • Annual Sisterhood Shabbat.
  • Purchase & serve apples & honey for a "sweet year".
  • Provide "Break-Fast" at sundown on Yom Kippur.
  • Various speakers and programs.
  • Fun socials and much, much more!
