Preliminary 2007-2008 Event Calendar September 9, 2007

Note: This is a tentative schedule – Dates, costs, times will follow

September 9^th – Opening Brunch 10:00 at Temple Shalom.

Special guest speaker Peter Filichia – Drama critic for the Newark Star Ledger discussing “A Personal History of the American Theater”

October 5^th – Early Shabbat service - 6:00pm followed by dinner

October 14^th – Hunger Walk – We’ll get together at 1:00pm in Morristown and walk to benefit the Soup Kitchen followed by a group activity and then dinner in Morristown

November 10^th – Theater night – EITHER

– George Street Playhouse – New Brunswick – Sunshine Boys starring Jack Klugman

OR – Luna Stage – Montclair – Death of a Salesman

(This really is one or the other since both are the same evening)

December 1^st – Renaissance Art “Un-Auction” to benefit Chadeish Beiteinu. We will have a great time with a wine and cheese reception and an “un-auction” to clean out the extra art work we have in our homes while making a great tax deductible contribution to Chadeish Beiteinu – Renewing Our Home, the Temple Shalom renovation project.

January 13^th – TBD

February 1^st – Early Shabbat service 6:00pm followed by dinner

February 10^th – Movie Night at Temple Shalom

March 9^th – Day trip to Philadelphia to see the world famous Philadelphia Flower Show.

April (date TBD) – Lower East Side walking tour with a human guide – not a cell-phone

April 25^th – Renaissance leads Friday night services

May 3-4^th – Overnight trip to Pennsylvania including visits to Lambertville PA and Longwood Gardens.

June (date TBD) – Audubon Society Eco-Tour to see the birds of NYC harbor

July (date TBD) – 3^rd Annual Renaissance BBQ
